Olympus OM-5 autofocus SLR? Now you seem to see it, but is it for real?

Olympus is rumored to be considering production of the OM-5 that would be geared towards the professional market. The one drawback is the cost of manufacturing a lens system that could handle currently available OM manual lenses.

Contax has introduced the AX, a radically innovative SLR camera that uses the camera body rather the lens in its autofocus operation. The design allows autofucusing with any Contax lens. The list price of the camera is $2,795.
