Distinguishing the U.S. 2-cent stamps of 1879 to 1879
Article Abstract:
These 2-cent stamps have four main variations which are found on the curved scroll drawn above the letters U.S. The notes were also made of different weight paper by two different companies, the Continental Bank Note Co and the American Bank Note Co. The variations in design are described.

Brazil releases stamps honoring lighthouses
Article Abstract:
Three stamps honoring lighthouses were issued in Brazil on Sep 28, 1995. The structures are the Olinda Lighthouse, Sao Joao Lighthouse and Santo Antonio de Barra Lighthouse. The history of each of the lighthouses is recounted and the stamps are described.
