Article Abstract:

It can become tiring for amateur photographers to compose a picture the same way while on holiday and featured are tips on how to approach a subject with a fresh pair of eyes and a different view. After the standard shot of a structure or people, it is suggested that subsequent pictures should focus on some unique or unusual aspect of the subject(s). Additional advice is offered on how to make a departure from the single-vision mind-set when photographing.

Focus an SLR manually

The most innovative autofocus SLRs cannot handle every focusing challenge. The option to switch manual focusing is useful, but difficult because the focusing screens do not have rangefinders or microprisms. The best way to adjust the focus is to turn the ring quickly.
