Geologist Courtland Lee discovered in Maryland what he thinks is an agatized dinosaur bone and is working to uphold his claim. The material, whether an agate, petrified bone or wood, plain quartz of something else, is expected to have a remarkable historical and scientific connection.

A passion for jade

Article Abstract:

Deborah Wilson professes that jade is her rock and her center. Having worked at jade carving since 1972, Wilson's nephrite sculptures are always part of gem shows. She claims that nephrite's toughness and translucency give her freedom to refine and perfect her sculpting.

China's amazing new pearls
