Israel's Y2K problem

Article Abstract:

Jerusalem, Israel is the symbolic center of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and all 3 religions believe that their Messiahs will reign from there. The turn of the millennium has brought people from these religions to Jerusalem and surrounding areas, with special focus on the Temple Mount of the Old City. Many Christians and Jews want to see the Jewish Temple rebuilt there, where the Muslim Dome of the Rock now sits. Members of some groups are prepared to use force, and some fear that the area may be on the brink of a huge and potentially deadly conflict.
