Article Abstract:

The details of the structure plans of Connecticut house transformed by their owner Jay and Carolyn Haverson into a 1950s structure are presented. Some of the additions made included a funkily shaped kitchen with a breakfast area, a family room, a dining room, and a powder room.

A light touch

Article Abstract:

The remodeling of a 1970s Cape-Cod-style house, purchased by a ballet school director and her dentist husband, is narrated. As a part of renovation of the house the owners had raised the floor, broken the family room, and added a half-wall to the house.
