Article Abstract:

No other fruit is as highly esteemed as the apple, which holds a permanent place in most American traditions. However, apples are difficult to grow since they attract a variety of pests and diseases. Some of the more common apple pests and diseases and the easy ways to eradicate them are presented.

Pines

Article Abstract:

Many different pests and disease can make pine trees look sickly, but they rarely kill them. Common pests include sawflies, spruce spider mites and carpenter ants. Pesticides and hand picking of larvae are recommended. Common diseases include pine needle scale and diplodia tip blight.

Common rose diseases include black spot and powdery mildew. Common pests are spider mites, thrips, aphids, borers, Japanese beetles, and leaf-cutting bees. Ways of treating these diseases and pests are described.
