Arsenic and old waste: some gardening residues won't go away

Growing muskmelons in cold weather is possible by using a mulch with recycled polyethylene. This helps to retain warmth in the soil. One source is empty plastic nursery containers, but communities lack a resourceful way to collect these for recycling companies.
