The Bok Tower Gardens of Lake Wales, FL, are described, concentrating on the gardens' history, the development that took place there under the management of Edward William Book in the early 20th century, and the sanctuary the gardens provide to plants and animals. Topics include the relationships Bok established with talented landscape designers and builders in order to create the gardens he envisioned.
