CO deaths spur detector sales

Article Abstract:

The growing number of deaths caused by exposure to carbon monoxide has led to the enactment of laws in such cities as Willowick, Richmond Heights, Eastlake, Macedonia and Brooklyn, all in Ohio. While the laws are different from city to city, they have boosted the sale of carbon monoxide detector sales. Home Warehouse official Bill Dover says that while in the past they sold only $2,500 to $2,800 worth of detectors over a two-and-half month period, the retailer has now sold $90,000 worth over the same period.
