Article Abstract:

On haying: may you always have hard workers, good equipment, and four days of sunshine

Article Abstract:

Haying, or hay making, is a time-consuming, labor-intensive farm chore that produces economic benefits, but it is not an easy one. To sell hay, it must be prepared in bales. This requires a tractor with a baler. A tedder is used to help dry hay in humid climates.
