Cuspidors a.k.a. spittoons

Article Abstract:

Tobacco chewing was very popular in the US by the mid-19th century and almost every home had a spittoon. Spittoons were made in every imaginable shape and color, and out of more materials than any other object. Some current prices for cuspidors are listed.

Silvered glass

Charles Kaziun paperweights

Glass blower Charles Kaziun perfected the art of encasing glass within glass in the 20th century. His paperweights and other work, signed with a distinctive 'K' signature, are highly prized by collectors.
