Article Abstract:
A detailed history of the evolution of various types of tables from the 18th and 19th century is presented such as butterfly table, chair table, trestle table and wine table. Several clues are suggested to determine the originals and reproductions of the 19th century tables that would help a buyer to identify the difference.
