Feeding desire design and the tools of the table, 1500-2005

Article Abstract:

An exhibition 'Feeding Desire: Design and Tools of the Table, 1500-2005', featuring a collection of flatware, cutlery and other accessories for the table, will be on view from May 5-October 29,2006, in the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in Washington, D.C. Some of the displays include an 1860 macaroni server and a 17th century traveling flatware.

ACE board elects three members, announces new jurying system

Article Abstract:

ACE's board of overseers now includes Lynn Allinger, Peter Handler, and Robert Pfuelb. All nine current board members are profiled. ACE's selection process for its craft fairs has been reformed to allow for jurying of submitted works by specialists in each field of craft.
