Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the preservation of the billions of funds invested for retirement are presented. Since the 1970s, millions of people have taken advantage of the individual retirement accounts which deferred taxes with withdrawal of the funds. The funds were invested in funds where the financial managers also owned stock.

Prints of Victorian children made by Currier and Ives in the 1800s are becoming collectible items. The prints and lithographs were inexpensive when they were first made, and were often given away free as part of the company's marketing campaign. Uneven coloring is often a sign that a print is an original and not a copy.
