Killer trees

Article Abstract:

Unhealthy or fragile trees can pose health or property dangers, as well as lead to costly litigation. As trees offer so many benefits, it is sometimes difficult to consider removing a tree from one's property, but this may prove necessary if the tree or its branches are in danger of injuring a person or property. In addition to health hazards, lawsuits can arise if a property owner is negligent in removing a dangerous tree. Tree owners should be aware of insect infestations, cracks in trunks, leaning trees, and diseases.

Don't fall prey to tree terror

Article Abstract:

People occasionally overreact to warnings of possible safety and health hazards posed by trees and unnecessarily remove healthy, non-hazardous trees. Tree owners should have their tree analyzed for hazards by a professional if they suspect there may be a potential risk. Many tree problems can be corrected without total destruction of the tree.
