Given them what they ask for

Article Abstract:

The key to having a low-maintenance, colorful yard is to place plants where they want to grow. Know where the sunny and shady parts of your yard are and place sun-loving and shade-tolerant plants accordingly. Use perennials as the focal points of the yard. Suggested perennials for sunny areas include black-eyed Susan, mealy-cup sage and fernleaf yarrow. The common bleeding heart, Feverfew and hardy begonias are good perennials for shady spots.
