Grow a better strawberry

Article Abstract:

Alpine and musk strawberries are hardy, pest-resistant plants that thrive in sun or partial shade in zones 3 through 10. Musk strawberries taste like a mix of strawberry, raspberry and pineapple and bear fruit only in spring or early summer. Alpine strawberries last the entire growing season.

The line on cherry tomatoes: a summer's experience reveals the winning varieties

Article Abstract:

Nineteen varieties of cherry tomatoes are rated on the basis of criteria such as flavor, fruit size, and productivity. The best tomato overall is Sun Gold. Presto is the most productive plant. A recipe for spinach linguine with little tomatoes is included.

Tool sheds: Watering wands

Article Abstract:

The description and maintenance methods of watering wand are mentioned. It is suggested that watering can be done with a hose attached to it and a good watering wand should always be lightweight and have a reliable shutoff.
