Zone 10 in the US is the semi-tropical area such as the southern third of Florida. Anya McCoy of Miami Shores, FL, and Andres Mejides of Homestead. Fl are two regional testers who will advise readers of Organic Gardening magazine. The background of the testers, and some tips, are presented.

Meet your Texas testers! Neither drought, rain, sleet nor hail can stop these Lone Star gardeners

Article Abstract:

Two gardeners who are volunteer test gardeners in Zone 8, which is Texas, are introduced. They are Lola Daniel from Houston, TX and John Dromgoole, from Austin, TX. They discuss their gardening and which kinds of flowers and vegetables they like to grow in the often difficult Texas climate.
