Plant your November garden: how to grow vegetables now for a fresh harvest into late fall and beyond

When autumn weather comes, most of the summer garden harvest is over, but plants started in July will be ready for harvesting. Types of plants that can be started in summer include brussels sprouts, lettuce, radishes, spinach and peas. Tips are given on how to successfully grow a fall crop.

Growing a spring harvest

Article Abstract:

The last of the winter vegetables such as carrots are the first of the spring vegetables. But perennials such as asparagus and rhubarb are also spring vegetables. Tips are given on how to start asparagus and rhubarb. Other early crops included herbs, peas, lettuce, spinach and radishes.
