Article Abstract:

Many retailers marketing their products on the Internet have not posted huge sales, but technologists who work with the medium says that with the dramatic growth it is enjoying, it is just a matter of time before retailers see major gains. So while they are not making any money, many retailers feel that their presence on the World Wide Web now will prepare them for the time when the Internet will come into its own and become a key component of online commerce.
