Robert Arneson 1930-1992

Article Abstract:

Arneson felt that he found freedom of expression in working in ceramics. His teaching career at UC Davis began in 1962 and is considered distinguished by colleagues such as Wayne Thiebaud. Arneson's recent works using himself as model will be remembered for their wit and craftsmanship.
