Organizing a global, in-house work force

Article Abstract:

Globalization underscores the need for new management techniques geared towards the integration of diverse people on both global and local scales. The Arthur Andersen Worldwide Organization addresses this issue through a unified employee training program which teaches standard operational procedures and instills in the employees a common goal to perform quality service. Other management techniques include the installation of up-to-date telecommunications systems to facilitate global communications, annual meetings and student programs which serve as a channel for business and cultural exchange.
