The blooms that bring in the birds

Article Abstract:

Advice on what types of flowers to plant for the sole purpose of attracting hummingbirds to a garden is presented. These flowers are generally deep and tubular to allow the hummingbirds long skinny beak to reach the flower's nectar. Native plants generally best serve the purpose of attracting birds.
