The legacy of Pairpoint glass

Article Abstract:

Pairpoint glass pieces were originally manufactured by the Mt. Washington Glass Works, one of the pioneers of the glass manufacturing industry in New England in the 1870s. Pairpoint/Mt. Washington glass pieces are characterized by a 'bubble ball' knop used to connect the the glass article to its foot.

Steuben's colored crystals

The famous glassware from Steuben County, NY, are products of the design genius of Frederick Carder who lived in the late 19th century. The products are famous for their apparently flawless designs. Among the most popular types are the cameo art glass.
