Water, flame, corn & cutting: follow this path and you'll be walking on a weed-free lawn!

Article Abstract:

A four pronged attack against weeds is described. Tips are given on when and how to water a lawn, what the best mowing height is and why, and how to use hand weeding or a handheld torch to kill isolated weeds. A new product 'A-Maizing Lawn' made of corn gluten is also introduced as a weed inhibitor.

The right grass = a great lawn

Planting the type of grass which thrives best in a given region is the key to having a healthy lush lawn. Cool weather grasses and warm weather grasses are discussed and examples are given. A regional map for grass types is provided as well as tips on buying seed.
