Is is difficult to avoid the appearance of a 'horticultural zoo' when planning a wildflower garden. The garden should begin with a simple design. More complex species and combinations can be added later. This cautious approach enables gardeners to augment the design properly.

Color layout plays a significant role in the aesthetics of any garden. The color of the home also has to be considered. Any flowers or plants with a reddish or warm-yellow cast should be complemented with an evergreen that varies from other green foliage.
