Antidumping issues aired at market

Article Abstract:

The discussion regarding the favorable and unfavorable aspects of the antidumping petition gained momentum in the last meeting held before June 2004 in which a new rule was expected to be passed that would increase the import duty on Chinese bedroom products. The spectators at the market meeting were quite cooperative to the furniture retailers of America (FRA) by appreciating their ideas.

Consumer jury still out: retailers say Martha Stewart sales holding up, so far

Martha Stewart's conviction on securities related charges has not affected the sales of her furniture line, Berndart and consumer backlash due to tarnishing of her name, which is not expected in near future also. Some retailers may be a bit apprehensive about using her name but most of them are convinced about the salability of the line due to it being well-styled and well-priced.
