Bombay same-store sales plummet 18% in 3rd qtr

The decline in same-store sales of specialty retailer The Bombay Company in third quarter 2004, as compared to 2003, is examined. The decline in traffic and average ticket influenced the results on the whole and the company's ability to leverage fixed costs.

Jennifer posts $2.6M profit in 4Q; revenues rise 13.1%

Woodbury, New York based Jennifer Convertibles has posted a $2.6 million profit in its fourth quarter of 2005 and its stock jumped more than 72% to close at $3, with revenues raised by 13.1%.
