Broyhill joins FBI sisters with TV ad push

Article Abstract:

Broyhill Furniture has joined its Furniture Brands International sister firms with the roll out of its national television advertising push. The company launched its own advertising push on cable TV in the summer of 1998, and will keep the ads running through the early fall of 1998. In August 1998, Broyhill will introduce a 30-second brand-building TV spot highlighting the breadth and variety of the Broyhill furniture line. The commercial will run simultaneously with the fall of 1998 launch of a print campaign in shelter magazines emphasizing the rustic pine Torreon collection.

I have a signed Henry Link roll top desk which I bought about 17 years ago. I would like to sell it but I'm not sure of its value. Any idea!

Henry Link name on way out

Article Abstract:

Lexington Furniture will eliminate the Henry Link name, which will be replaced by Lexington Casual. According to the company's president, Jeff Young, the company would benefit more from its advertising if it carries the Lexington name rather than the two names. Henry Link represents the company's indoor and outdoor furniture unit. Young said that the decision is also a result of the many changes that have been brought to the Henry Link line in the past 18 months. Young said that the Lexington name is more appropriate to the company's change in merchandising plans.
