Gorman's unveils new Widdicomb collection

Gorman's Home Furnishings, a Detroit, MI-based furniture retailer, has unveiled its display of John Widdicomb's T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Collection on November 10, 1998. The retailer, which has four stores in greater Detroit, is the only firm authorized to carry the modern reproduction collection. The collection, which was introduced by Bexley Heath at the October 1997 furniture market in High Point, NC, showcases avante-garde contemporary designs.

Self-service kiosks, which can give in-store consumers electronic credit reply, are making their presence felt in furniture stores, freeing the store sales associates for other duties.
