Susan Sargent boutiques opening in 30 stores nationwide by August

Susan Sargent boutiques will be opening 30 store-within-a-store boutiques all over the US by August 1998, while adding furniture to the company's product line. Susan Sargent, president of the company, said the boutiques will offer hand-tufted rugs, textiles, bedding and ceramics. The company will also add painted wood pieces such as beds, side tables and accents made by Archatrive to its product line in the next few months. Sargent remarked that the furniture will be sold, while serving as display platform for other merchandise in the boutique.
