U.S proposes 30-minute mattress burn test

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has proposed a new mattress flammability standard already being employed in California. The standard endorses two key factors: a 30-minute burn test and a maximum heat release rate of 200kws. The bedding industry has responded positively to the same.
