Convergent validation of two measures of organizational socialization

Article Abstract:

The convergent, divergent and predictive validities of two multidimensional measures of organizational socialization are assessed. In regression analysis using commitment and satisfaction as the criterion variables, both measures are able to explain significant amounts of variances, demonstrating excellent predictive validity.

The impact of boundaryless careers on organizational decision making: an analysis from the perspective of Luhmann's theory of social systems

Article Abstract:

The effects of boundaryless careers on organizational decision making are analyzed. Further, the theory of social systems by the German sociologist Niklas Luhmann is referred and a new theoretical approach to analyzing different ways of how organizations can cope with the challenges of new career patterns is presented.

The role of employee preferences and organizational culture in explaining e-commerce orientations

A study examining the impact of low versus high organizational cultures in adoption of e-commerce as well as the internalization and technological orientation, is presented. The study has been conducted on financial services and textile manufacturing companies.
