Display screen blues?

Article Abstract:

Several organisational and administrative tasks should be carried out prior to conducting an analysis of workstations as required under new UK occupational health and safety legislation. The assessment is aimed at identifying and controlling potential health and safety risks at the workstation. Users of display screen equipment should be made conscious of potential hazards and be made aware of comfortable working postures. The workstation evaluation covers the environment, screen, keyboard, desk and chair. The design of the workstation should take into account the type of tasks undertaken there.
