Employee assistance: how to help victims of domestic violence

Article Abstract:

For workers who are the victims of violence in the home, the work environment will usually be just a respite from the problem. Those feelings can make the problem an at-the-job problem. Domestic violence will occur in roughly half of all American marriages. Roughly 1.8 million women are the victims of household violence. The personnel director should show caution in communicating with the the worker who may be a victim of domestic violence.
