Employing refugees

Article Abstract:

Some of the barriers to refugee employment in the U.K. are discussed. The possibility of solving U.K.'s widely reported skills shortages, by facilitating the employment of skilled and experienced refugees in both, public sector and private sector, is explored.

New targets needed for employment of people with disabilities, says TUC

The Trades Union Congress (TUC) suggests the government to increase the number of disabled people in work by 2013. The TUC's new report indicates the links between disability, work and poverty and made a number of policy recommendations.
