Evaluating change in European industrial relations: research evidence on trends at organizational level

Article Abstract:

A non-union HRM model is increasingly forming the basis for industrial relations across Europe. However, recent research has indicated that there are still strong national variations within this model, and that there is still a long way to go before convergence is achieved in this area. It is clear that national differences are still more significant than sector or size dimensions. Furthermore, trade union membership levels have remained very constant over the last 10 years.
