HRM practice in emerging economies: a long way to go in the Slovak hotel industry?

Article Abstract:

Empirical study on recent developments in human resource management policies and practices in hotel industry emphasizing on areas such as human resource management function, employee resourcing, employee development, employee relations and emerging human resource issues is presented. A shift from the traditional rigid socialist type of personnel management is observed.
