Article Abstract:

The effect of Latin America's environment and the policies of multinational corporations (MNCs) on human resource (HR) practices is examined. It is contended that human resource management (HRM) plays a key role in poising local and global forces in multinational companies.

Human resource control in MNCs: a study of the factors influencing the use of formal and informal control mechanisms

Article Abstract:

The parameters that affect the application of formal as well as informal control of human resources in Multinational Corporations (MNCs) are examined. It is shown that formal and informal control mechanisms have different sets of internal and external roots.
