Hay International Conference: Vienna

Article Abstract:

The 15th Hay International Conference, held in Vienna, Austria, in mid-November 1996, was the forum for talks regarding business, leadership, organizational and human resources concerns that will ensure Europe's continued competitiveness worldwide. The conference, entitled "Getting Europe Fit for Global Competition: The Leadership and Human Resources Challenges," discussed issues regarding leadership skills required to maintain Europe's leading role in the global arena. Hay Europe general manager and managing director of Hay/McBer Murray Dalziel, expounded on the conference's theme by outlining qualities of leadership.
