Setting favorable for domestic fixed income securities

Article Abstract:

Domestic fixed income securities are expected to do well in 1993 owing to a stable political climate, a falling inflation rate and a strong currency. Political stability and a strong dollar, as well as a strong defense establishment and a growing economy, are expected to make the US favorable to international investments. Thus, US Pres Bill Clinton would do well to push for a progressive and sustained economic recovery to strengthen his re-election bid for 1996.
