The career plateauing reactions: the moderating role of job scope, role ambiguity and participation among Canadian managers

Article Abstract:

The effects of career growth saturation among Canadian managers are altered by the factors of job scope, role ambiguity and participation in the decision-making. A study conducted among 3065 managers also shows the above aspects contrary to the general perception, actually have positive effects.

The performance effects of major workforce reductions: longitudinal evidence from North America

Article Abstract:

The effects of workforce reductions on labor productivity and operational indebtedness of US and Canadian companies are studied. Companies that made major job cuts experienced a deterioration of operational indebtedness and a negligible change in labor productivity.
