The relationship between expatriates' personality traits and their adjustment to international assignments

Article Abstract:

The association between personality attributes of exiles and their adaptation to international assignments is probed. The Big Five traits - extroversion, agreeability, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience - are especially dealt with in detail.

Knowledge transfer: analysis of three Internet acquisitions

The means adopted to effect knowledge transfer in three cases of acquisitions of firms are reviewed. The impact of cultural factors and the nature of knowledge on the implementation process is studied.
