Trust in public-sector senior management

Article Abstract:

An examination of trust in public-sector senior management is presented. Accordingly, a model identifying important antecedents and consequences of trust in public-sector senior management is proposed. Article Abstract:

The relationship between trust, job characteristics, individualism and attitudes of team members towards teamwork is examined through data from 218 employees in 40 self-managing work teams. Findings suggest that two situational forms of trust were better predictors of the preference of an employee for teamwork than propensity to trust.
