Unions back more disability discrimination cases

Article Abstract:

Though the total number of disability discrimination cases dropped down by 40% over the previous year, union backed cases rose sharply to 7% this year. The average quantum of awards in these cases rose by 20%. Unions were happy at the outcome of their cases, but claimed that employers bullied the employees with threat of costs.
