Article Abstract:

The history of the ancient Roman city of Sagalassos is well recorded on the coins and other archaeological findings in this region. Excavations and surveys have been fruitful in bringing to light the cultural and commercial life of one of the wealthiest towns of classical antiquity. The Geologists and geomorphologists have provided useful information on landscape cultivation in the region. They have helped dispel the myth about the demographic composition of Hellenistic Pisidia.
