Every paycheck tells a story

Article Abstract:

A recent survey on the pay of insurance agents indicates that pay for experienced customer service representatives (CSR) specializing in the sales of commercial lines increased throughout the US more than for any other position. There were more assistant CSR jobs for the sales of both commercial and personal insurance lines that were reported in the latest survey compared to the previous one. The findings suggest that many agencies are willing to pay a high price to be able to get available workers and that experienced CSRs are difficult to hire.

Changes also need to be performed quickly and communication with employees is paramount. Additionally, consultants should make sure that new business production is not delayed.

Perpetuation requires years of preparation

Article Abstract:

Insurance agency owners who fail to adequately plan for the transfer of their agencies to new owners often find themselves unable to retire when they hoped to or with the retirement income they expected. Agency owners should identify future owners and decide how the transfer of stock to those successors will take place. Such planning, though tedious and seemingly trivial, can pay rich rewards.
