Few sheriffs on the wild, wild Internet

Article Abstract:

The advent of the Internet as an insurance marketing tool has attracted unscrupulous individuals who are offering a wide range of fraudulent insurance products. Unsuspecting consumers are offered such products as spurious health coverage for those dying of cancer and high-risk policies at dramatically unrealistic prices. Despite the proliferation of these shady characters, there is a dearth of regulators to bring the criminals to justice.
