Major realtors target title business entry

Article Abstract:

Title insurance is being viewed by the majority of large realtors as a field of opportunity, although currently only 27% of the 250 largest relators offer these services. Realtors tend to prefer an outside loan company rather than an in-house service because the realtor is more assured of the commission if there is a problem. One reason firms offer point-of-sale services is to increase their profitability.
